Some times we look at the tree and only see the branches, the Perlan will only be able to do what it needs to do because of the design of the Sailplane, the roots of the tree. This very special sailplane was designed and parts fabricated by Windward Performance/Greg Cole, home of the Sparrow Hawk, Duck Hawk all of which have proven them selves to be of top of the line designs, U.S. built and world proven.

Congratulation to Windward Performance, with out the talent of design there would not be a Perlan.
If only the upper crust of the sailplane community supported the only U.S. sailplane manufacture we would see more of these sailplanes flying and winning.
